GASP! takes place during summer each year, but we are not against providing autumnal vibes a few months early, and that’s exactly what Don’t Let the Cat Out delivers! Tim Cruz’s creepy Halloween-set slasher film is guaranteed to have you on the edge of your seat with its excellent pacing, intense set pieces, amusingly dark humour, and terrifying cat costumes. It’s a deeply personal tale of grief and loss, themes that blend perfectly into its story, adding extra layers to an already compelling film that is bound to be a standout for lovers of slashers and, of course, cat lovers too.
